We feel that the current
taco catering menu is the best we’ve offered. To assure that our clients can rely on the same tasty food, time after time, we rarely modify recipes or add to it.
4Does Valley Tacos Taco Catering have a food truck?
No. We provide taco cart catering services. While it’s easy to get distracted and offer everything plus the kitchen sink, we choose to focus on what we’re great at. We are great at making street-style tacos at your home, office, and school using our mobile taco carts.

No. While we know our clients love our tacos, rice & beans, we enjoy meeting the challenges of providing taco cart catering that offers an equal measure of food and service. In doing so, we’re creating an experience larger than the food alone.
6How long has Valley Tacos been in business?
Valley Tacos Taco Catering was founded in December of 2019 although, we have been in business since May of 2012 known as The Taco Bar.
7Is Valley Tacos Taco Catering locally owned and operated?
Yes. Valley Tacos Taco Catering is a family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Southern California. We've been in the Coachella Valley since 1994.

Our main headquarters is based in beautiful Palm Desert, California.
9Does Valley Tacos Taco Catering offer gluten-free items?
Yes. Every item included with our packages is gluten-free.
10Does Valley Tacos serve vegetarian and/or vegan tacos?
We do offer a vegetarian taco catering entree of grilled veggies - zucchini, yellow squash, red & green bell pepper, onion, mushroom & garlic. We also provide a vegetarian bean option and rice option.
11Is there a limit on how many or how few people Valley Taco will serve at an event?
We don't have a minimum within our immediate service area. Contact us for more information on the minimums if you're outside the Coachella Valley.
12What forms of payment does Valley Tacos accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo & PayPal.
13For wedding taco catering, does Valley Tacos cater the actual reception of just after-parties?
14What is a wedding "after-party"?
After dinner has been enjoyed by all of your guests, dancing and drinking are well underway, a late-night taco party is a great way to send your guests off with a full stomach and happy heart.
15How much space is required to accommodate Valley Tacos taco carts?
Our carts are designed to fit through any standard 36” doorway. We ask for about 10’ x 10’ of space per taco cart.
16How many hours will Valley Tacos service?
Usually, there are 3 hours of service; one hour is for setting up and cook time and a 2-hour window of serving (This is for packages of 50 persons and more). For events with 35 persons or less, there is only one hour of set up and cook time and there is a 1-hour window of serving.
17How many tacos will each person get?
We all know that our tacos are amazing, we prepare 6 oz of meat per person. This averages to about 5 - 6 tacos per person. We do not limit how many tacos/plates your guests can eat. Some will eat more than 6 while others will only eat a couple. It all averages out in the end.
18What happens with the leftovers?
All of the leftovers are left at your location for you to keep. You will need to provide containers and we will package them up for you.
19How can I reserve Valley Tacos today?
All you have to do to reserve today is
contact us through email or phone. We'll get all the details, set you up on our calendar, send you a confirmation and you're all set.
20Does Valley Tacos provide the plates, napkins, and forks?
Yes, we do provide plain white foam plates, white napkins, and white forks.
21Is there another fee if I pay with a credit card?
No. Paying with a card is a convenience for our customers and any fees we incur are a part of our cost of doing business.
22Do all Valley Tacos team members speak English?
Yes, all of our team members speak English.
23Does Valley Tacos cook on location?
Yes, we do cook on location and serve directly from our cart.
24What will happen if I want our taco crew to stay more time in my event?
Each additional hour is $50 and is based on availability if requested on the day of the event. Additional hours can also be reserved at the time of booking.
25What happens if I want another taco cart?
Events of 150 or more will usually require additional grills and staff at no extra cost.
26Does Valley Tacos provide bussers or a clean up crew?
No. Our teams set up, cook, serve and break down only. They will course make sure the area we worked in is left the way we found it.
27Does Valley Tacos need power?
Our taco carts are powered with propane. Setting us up in a well-lit area is always a plus for evening events.
28Does Valley Tacos need a water supply?
We bring the water we need for the steam pans.
29How much time does Valley Tacos need to set up?
Our staff will arrive 1 hour before service time to set up and begin cooking.
30When does my Valley Tacos team arrive?
1 hour before your desired food service time.
31What about getting the equipment in the yard?
Our equipment can go through standard gates and the grills can be broken down if there are tight corners or other obstacles.
32Is the food prepared on-site?
All our meats and grilled veggies are cooked on-site on our taco carts.
33Food quality?
We use only the highest quality meats and ingredients.
34How much time do you need overall?
We’ll be on-site for about 2.5-3.5 hours depending on your package size. One hour to set up and cook, Two to serve and about 30-45 minutes to clean up. We have found that 1-2 hours of service time is plenty for most parties.
35Does Valley Tacos provide drinks?
No, we do not provide drinks.
36What about special dietary needs or allergies?
Just let us know. We can usually accommodate it.
37Does Valley Tacos clean up after service ends?
Once the service time is over, our staff cleans up our work area. We do not clean up the dining area or bus tables.
38How far ahead should I book with Valley Tacos?
As far as you can. Some weekends are booked weeks in advance, others are not. We’ll try to accommodate you no matter when you call, however, we can only accommodate so many parties on a single day.
39What information do you need for booking?
Contact Name, party address, phone, email, desired food service time, plus your decisions on a few of our food options. If you're unsure of the number of people or any other details we can work those out later, the important part is to get your party booked.
40Any hidden charges?
No hidden charges at all. What we discuss and agree to at booking is what you pay.
41Do I need special permits?
Usually not. If the party is at a park or other location they will let you know what is required.
42Does Valley Tacos rent tables..etc?
We provide all the equipment we need for our service but NOT tables and chairs for your guests. We can recommend a rental company if you need.
43Does Valley Tacos offer the opportunity to sample the dishes?

44Are taxes and gratuity included in your prices?
Taxes are included in our pricing. Tips are not included in our pricing and are always welcome.
45What is included in your packages?
Each package includes 3 meat choices (carne asada, chicken, al pastor or carnitas), rice, beans, corn tortillas, tomatillo salsas (hot & mild), lime, onion, cilantro, grilled onion, grilled jalapenos, plates, napkins & forks.
46Does Valley Tacos require a deposit to book?
No, we do not. Only your commitment when booking your event is all that's needed.
